Joining the Ship
Upstream in SaigonCheck-in is always at 0830 at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel where you will be met by a Representative of the Company and your luggage tagged with your cabin number for easy porterage to your cabin. The coach leaves Renaissance Hotel at 0900 for check in at the ship 1100 followed by port and immigration formalities. The ship then sails at 1300. Please note that we will not collect passengers from other hotels as this will lengthen the travel time for those who checked in at the right time and at the right place. We are under no obligation to look for passengers who do not check in on time. Such passengers will have to find their own way to join the ship at their own expense. The only exception to this is by prior arrangement for full charter party passengers not staying at the Renaissance Hotel.
Downstream at Siem Reap
Passengers should meet at the Victoria Resort Hotel (at Apsara Garden next to hotel entrance) at 1200 where you will be met by a Representative of the Company and your luggage tagged with your cabin number for easy porterage to your cabin. Our busses will be waiting there.
Because of varying water levels, we will start our journey one of the following ways:
High water: approximately August - November. At 1200 register at Victoria Resort Hotel to transfer by coach (30 min. drive) to the ship at Siem Reap Port and lunch on board.
Low water: approximately November - August. At 1200 register at Victoria Resort Hotel to transfer by coach (approx. 4 hours drive) to Prek Dom on the Tonle River, enjoying a snacks and cold drinks on the way with a stop at Kampong Thom. Embark the ship at Prek Dom by 1700.
Myanmar
All passengers are met at the airport in Rangoon by Company Representatives and escorted to their hotels. All arrangements for embarkation and disembarkation transfers are taken care of by the company.
