INDONESIA DESTINATION INFORMATION
Visa: Effective February 01, 2004, citizens of the following countries must obtain an entry visa upon arrival in Indonesia:
Argentina; Australia; Brazil; Canada; Denmark; France; Finland; Germany; Hungary; Italy; Japan; New Zealand; Norway; Poland; South Africa; South Korea; Switzerland; Taiwan; United Arab Emirates; UK & USA.
a. Passengers must complete the arrival/departure card application form before arrival.
b. Upon arrival, pay the visa fee at Mandiri Bank counter obtaining a bar-coded receipt.
c. Visa fee may be paid in U.S. dollars.
d. Proceed to visa-on-arrival counter to have arrival/departure card, passport and receipt scanned and recorded by Immigration computer. A sticker visa will be issued.
This visa is not extendable and not convertible to other types of visas.
e. Proceed to Immigration checkpoint for clearance.
f. Proceed to baggage carousel and customs clearance.
Passport: Must be valid at least six months beyond visit.

Climate: Tropical with two seasons.
Rainy Season: October through April, with December being the wettest month of the year. Even in the rainy season, you may get heavy rain for a few minutes then the sky will clear and the temperature is always warm.
Dry Season: May through September, with July being the coolest month of the year.

Currency: The Rupiah. Notes 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, 100,000. Coins 25, 50, 100, 500, 1000.
Credit Cards: Major credit cards are acceptable in most hotels along with American dollar traveler's cheques.
Electricity: Most hotels use 220 volts, 50 cycles and a round, two-pronged slim plug. Bathroom shaver plugs usually have a transformer switch. We suggest taking an adaptor for your appliance.
Clothing: Light, airy, casual clothes are the most practical and you'll find natural fibers like cotton or linen are the most comfortable in Bali's often humid conditions. Waist sashes as well as skirts/sarong for women, should be worn when visiting temples.
